Next March I and a couple of others in aid of Ty Hafan and Ty Gobaith will be riding from Holyhead on the 18th of March and arrive at the Millennium Stadium Cardiff on the 20th the day that Wales play Italy in the six nations. What I'm after is a bit of advice on the best route we could take it does not need to be the fastest route not much money will be collected in open countryside on route. We will have support teams either with us on route collecting money in all the towns and villages. Any advice will be appreciated or if you wish to join in and help at any stage of the ride again that will be brilliant. Phil from Anglesey |

Joined: 25 Nov 2009 Posts: 2 Bike: | Hi Phil I would suggest the "Taff Trail" it runs for miles and miles just along the edge of S.Wales in beautiful country side and it comes out directly in front of the millenium stadium, you can go further to the bay if you want. Access to the town's you pass are just little cycle paths you use to join or leave and are short legs. Good luck from another ex squaddie. David (RAF Regiment) |
