| We did this in the opposite direction doing the sand part of the journey last. The road section was quite relaxing and quite easy, apart from the odd busy roundabout within Aberdeen. We stopped at a general store in Balmedie for refreshments. If one wants to cycle the sand, one needs to be aware when the tide is out, to be able to cycle on firm sand. When we were there the tide was in, and the sand was just too soft to cycle. We walked, and this is also great. We took our time, and in all this took us about 6 hours. Skippyx | ||
