This is a very flat, quick route, to get across town reasonably safely. It is suitable for all bikes, and there are enough places to stop along the way, should you wish to. Wandsworth Town is the more tricky part, but you can stay to the left through the one way system or use the tow paths. | |

I commute from Tower Bridge (south side) and prefer to head through Elephant and Castle (the worst bit of the ride) over Lambeth Bridge then down Embankment to Chelsea, then follow New Kings Road to Putney Bridge, cross south and then through Putney Common. Its under 10 miles and nice and easy. | ||
