From Belmont Village, via Banstead, Coulsdon, Kingswood, Walton towards Box Hill. Loop out to Headingley to arrive at the bottom of the Zig Zag road to climb up Box Hill and then return the same way. This is a quieter route than along the A217, lots of countryside and forest through Kingswood. The route mostly climbs until Headingley, then fast downhill to bottom of Box Hill, then last climb before mostly downhill on the return leg. Good for all types of riders on quieter roads with some long and gentle uphills, easy rest points and easy to cut the ride short if required. Good all round type of ride - take it as fast or as slow as you want. All roads are 40 mph speed limit. | |
