This is a very short stretch that was designed by Sustrans to help cyclists avoid the busy A59.
Starting alongside Sainsburys head on to the foot path. The footpath will take you all the way round to Bilton Lane.
When you arrive at Bilton Lane, turn right and head to the end of the road where it changes to Beryl Burton Lane (you can tell as the surface changes to crushed limestone surface).
This cycle way takes you right to the outskirts of Knaresborough arriving parallel to the Yorkshire Lass Pub.

The route starts (or ends) at Asda on Dragon Road, not Sainsburys. Fairly flat - a nice easy ride.

Was about to make the point Adrian already has i.e. this starts at ASDA not Sainsburys for those looking for the start point.
