This is a nice easy flat road route, on a mix of A and B roads and country lanes. There are some exposed areas, where the wind can really blow about, which adds to the difficulty, especially on crossing the A10 to Swaftham Prior. There's also about 3/4 mile of road, just before Swaftham Prior, that has cracks in the road every 10m or so. This gets really frustrating when you are trying to keep a steady rythm.

I'm not from the area but happened to be in Cambridge. Nice easy flat route, lovely villages, really enjoyable afternoon. I'm new to cycling so it was perfect for me. Having said that, Cambridge could do with a few road signs :-) I really appreciate you taking the time to post this. Without your posting I'd have spent a boring afternoon wandering aimless in the shops.
