A great day out on in nice weather, and and a long one too if you stop off for refreshments, a civilised lunch and explore a little off the track around the old southern docks (Surrey Quays etc) like I did. There are a few areas on the trip where you have to head inland from the river, and some places where the cycle track comes to an end due to construction. When you get near the O2 don't turn right towards the tube station, continue back to the river. I haven't bothered plotting the return trip but suggest you do the same route. I headed north of the river at Greewhich as it wasn't as nice. |
