This route is pretty much as is on the map. The only important part is where it starts and how to get there.
If you are heading south turn onto the A525 at Wrexham and cycle for 7 miles, Coed Llandelga is on your left. If you are coming up from the south you can leave Llangollen and head north over the Horseshoe Pass. Worth looking to your left at the ruins on the hill, apparently used to be an old fort but may be worth a climb on the bike.
If you head to the East of the forest, you will find the car park with the start of the trails. The more difficult route is detailed on the map with plenty of single track too.
Just follow the red arrows around the forest. There are other routes as well that may be worth a play if you don't fancy quite so tough a route.

A new section has just opened up as well, called the Black Run or "Y Llwybr du". I haven't tested it myself but its intervenes with the red route to the north west of the route when its nearest the A525.
