Take the Brackley Road through to Hinton. As you go through Hinton, take the lane through and on to the gated road. At the other end of the gated road, turn left and kepp going until you enter the Hinton Airfield. Cross the airfield - it's an active airfield, so keep a lookout for planes and gliders - exiting on the opposite site from where you entered. At the end of the exit road, turn left toward Charlton (there is an option to go straight ahead and have some more fun bombing around Newbottle Woods). Go through Charlton and out the other side - this is a steep climb, so prepare for a little leg burn. Continue until the road splits left and continue into Croughton. At the junction, turn left and head back to where you started. |
