| A gently rolling route through lovely Northants countryside. Mainly quiet lanes, passing through some very pleasant villages, open and wooded landscape. Gradient changes are fairly moderate and predictable. With Brixworth being about half way, it offers a good choice for a refreshment stop. Just a short way out of the village, is Pitsford Reservoir, which has its own cafe and bike shop. This route is very adaptable with many easy variations possible. Some of the more open sections beyond Kelmarsh can proove a little more demanding in windy conditions. | |
