Attempted this route, but got lost! On the main road in Farm you will see a cyclist sign, you must follow this instead of trying to follow the main road to Earl Soham. Keep following the yellow and green signs, until you come to a two way option. Straight ahead will be the yellow and green sign which you have been following, this will take you to Easton NOT Earl Soham. This is the mistake I made and hence created my own bike route through easton and back up through Parham. When at the Junction you must follow the road round onto the BROWN sign, which will take you to Earl Soham. I hope you find this helpful and can now avoid any confusion!

I live in the area so getting lost wasn't really a problem for me. Just make sure you start from the Railway Inn and at the otherside of the road is Brook Lane, follow Brook Lane then you turn left up a sharp hill then a right at the top, from there it will take you all the way to Earl Soham. The ride is not a challenging one so ideal for a summer bike ride with family, friends or the other half. The only really challenging part is the short sharp hill coming out of Framlingham. There are also pubs along the way. The pub in Cretingham, the pub in Brandeston (if you deviate back into Brandeston slightly) and then lastly there is Station Pub in Framlingham at the end just past the petrol station on the left hand side. They are all great places to eat and drink. If you want a shorter ride and don't mind missing out on Easton then turn left in Kettleburgh then follow the road round to the right up the sharp hill, at the top the hill follow the road to the left which will then be flat and downhill all the way back into Framlingham.
