| This is a cycle route i use as often as possible to keep fit. The route has a little bit of everything, uphill, downhill and plenty of flat track along the canal. Starting on Wholeflats Road you take the first right and head up into polmont joining onto the A803 and then the B810. Follow on this road until you reach the union canal then head west(there is a tesco along the canal). After the the tunnel you will head up a small hill and link onto the B803/slamannan road head up hill towards lochgreen road. foolow this road until you come to the south bantaskin estate this downhill section leads back down onto the canal.
