I do an extended version of this loop about once a month on a MTB and it takes about 1:40mins. Very pleasant around Normandy and Compton. You can extend this easily by heading out on the A323 to Aldershot, turning right at Fairlands and then heading out towards Pirbright from Fox Corner then towards Ash turning left at Hunters Hill Lane back down into Normandy. Only 1 hill as you come up under the Hogsback but a great downhill into Puttenham. Best route back to Guildford is via the Wey path along the canal.
