| This is a fairly easy, road route, with some undulations that goes to Eastleigh Airport via Hobby Craft and Swaythling and then via Fair Oak on the way back. From the A334 roundabout head into Towbar Way (B3342). Follow this to the B3035 roundabout and turn left into Botley Road (B3035). Follow the road under the M27 and up to the T junction at the end. Turn right into Swathling Road (A27). Follow the A27 until you get to the roundabout where you see the railway bridge just ahead of it. Take the 2nd exit into Wide Lane, taking you up alongside Southampton Airport (Eastleigh), and follow the road under the M27 and round to the A335 roundabout. Turn right and continue on Wide Lane alongside Southampton Airport (Eastleigh). Follow the A335 to Eastleigh Railway Station roundabout and turn right into Bishopstoke Road (B3037). Follow the B3037 to the T junction with the B3354 and turn right into Botley Road. Follow the B3354 to the B3342 roundabout and turn right into Bubb Lane. Follow the B3342 to the B3035 roundabout. Head straight across into Tollbar Way (B3342) and back to the start. |
