This is a pleasant route for an evening ride in summer, nothing too taxing. Passes through Tockwith, Walton, Wighill, Healaugh and Rutforth.

Started at Cattal and did the route anti-clockwise. Most pleasant section was Walton to Heelaugh. I cut the ride short by taking the route back via Angram, Long Marston and Tockwith (past the Marston Moor battle memorial) - this section was more difficult due to the prevailing wind in my face and it being a cold January day. Time taken 1 hour 40 mins.
