The Isle of Anglesey is an island off the north west coast of Wales. Connected by transport links, it is the fifth largest island in the UK. Many megalithic monuments can be found on the island and is known to have had Druid settlers until 60 AD when Suetonius Paulinus, a Roman general, attacked Anglesey to overthrow the Druid's power. The sandy coastline and rural surroundings have been titled an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the area comprises two lighthouses, a working windmill and the castle of Beaumaris.
