Great ride of an up and down nature out to the edge of Ashridge Estate looping back through Trowley Bottom and to the start at Kensworth. There are some fine downhill sections and good views as well as some climbs but these climbs are quite nice ones in my opinion. Nearly all the roads are quiet country lanes, some single track. You pass through lovely typically quaint English villages with commons and village pubs. |

Ashridge House is visible at one point. Several village pubs. Markyate has pubs, chop, chippy, curry houses. Tea room at Hudnall corner. |
