Keswick to Barrow.

This is the route of the annual Keswick to Barrow walk but would make an excellent cycle ride - I have cycled most of this.

Many roads are quite narrow country lanes but there is usually very little traffic as these are away from the main roads and the tourists.

Some steep hills in places over fells at Grasmere and those near Ulverston, Dalton and Barrow. Pleasantly flat along side of Coniston Water for quite a few miles.

A varied route with excellent views along the way. A few pubs and tea shops along the way.
