| Lovely mainly flat route, heading from Leyland, thru Bretherton, Mawdesley, Hoscar Moss, thru Ormskirk, immediate right from a59 into Gaw Hill Lane, lovely downhill, fields everywhere, no traffic, head for Lydiate thru back lanes. From lydiate take main Southport rd to Plex Lane, back thru small back lanes. Thru Croston, head for home. | |

| did this ride today in strong september winds and pouring rain, but still enjoyed it. Not sure where you got the 74 miles. More like 74km. my sat nav clocked it at around 44.5 miles. Still a great ride | ||
