This follows canal paths from the Limehouse Basin in London to Ware in Middlesex without the need to cross any major roads. Some parts during the initial seven miles can be can be busy at the weekend with walkers but after that it is possible to make good progress.

Canal side Cafe about a mile after going under the M25, good for a cup of tea and a bacon butty. You can get a train from Ware back to Liverpool Street London.
