| Start at little sutton train station and turn into heath lane, 500yds on the right hand side there is a nice pub(the white lion )ideal if you do this ride in reverse. Continue on over the welsh road and back on heath lane,follow until you go over the second small bridge turn sharp left here and you will join the wirral way. Follow signs for willaston. At hadlow train station come off the wirral way and ride into the village of willaston. In the village there is a nice cafe next to a even nicer butchers.(hence the name the bacon run).You can return the same way you came or follow my alternate route back ,but it does by-pass the white lion pub near the end of the ride. If you do this ride in reverse you can stop off at the cafe and the pub before wobbling back to the train station. |
