This is a nice, road route, mainly on main roads with quite a lot of traffic, that has a few hills to negotiate. Although on roads, some of these may not be good for a pure road racing bike. The route heads out from Litton on country roads through Hinton Blewett. It then joins the A368 to start an anti clockwise loop of Chew Valley Lake. This takes you off the A368, across on country roads to Chew Stoke and down the B3114 back to the A368. You then continue to follow the B3114 back to Litton. I take about 2 hours for the round trip. |
