| This is a 36 mile route used by the CTC South Essex Group. It runs though Maldon and Maldon recreation grounds where there are cafes for tea or lunch breaks. The highlight is passing through the river front in Maldon. The route has been mapped to avoid main roads and use lanes where possible. This route does not shirk from hills however, the rider will be subjected to a series of tough hills around Danbury and Little Baddow. This is one of my favourite rides.
