The county is also home to the World Heritage Site of Palace of the Boyne, which is a very large pre-historic megalithic site dating back to between 35th Century BC and 32nd Century BC - that pre-dates Egyptian pyramids. If you're interested in history and historic intelligence, this would be a great place to visit.
