Osmotherley, past cod beck and Sheepwash to Scarth Nick, down to Swainby, cross over the A172 (Stokesley road)to Black Horse Lane, turn left at Potto turn off (there is a hall on the corner and a pink house on the other side of the road). Follow lane to new bridge over A19, over bridge, turn right, past Roots farm shop, (nice refreshment stop) continue on road past Roots turn left towards East Harlsley, to the cat and Bagpipes pub then follow the road to Ellerbeck and back up hill into Osmotherley, where there are 3 pubs a cafe and a shop and in the summer a fish and chip shop for refreshments. |

Good route lovely scenery. Went to a fantastic coffee shop in Swainby village, all home made cakes, well worth the energy taken to get there. | ||
