1. This route has some nice ups and downs, using some nice quiet roads, although there are some busy sections. There are pubs throughout the route, and you have the opportunity to take in some of the most beatiful landscape in Southern England.
Don't under estimate some of the ascents and descents, especially around Hedsor.
On and off point at Slough train station.
Cycle south toward Windsor through Eton College, headin up and onward over castle hill toward Old Windsor, short climb up crimp hill and into Windsor Great Park. A chance to see the polo grounds and then make your way back through to Windsor before crossing through Eton and back into Slough, (you pass the train station again, so if you want off here is your chance to call it a day!)
Continue North making your way UP to Fulmer where you will do some ups and downs crossing over top of the M40.
Heading east you make your way down Hedgerley Lane and toward the beautiful area around Littleworth Common. Ontoward Hedsor and a steep decent, before a slog up Hawks and Hedsor Hill.
Heading toward Taplow you make an adjustment on Nasdom Lane eventually turning back north toward Littleworth Common.
Into Burnham Beeches, around the beautiful park. Egypt Lane, where you cross over the A355 and make your way back through Hedgerley and eventually south on Gerrards Cross Rd, Stoke Poges Lane and the Slough Train Station.
