| 1. Start in residential route take in seafront on light traffic head out of Torquay on main road to newton abbot busy road but benefits from marked cycle lane. Take subway at Penn Inn roundabout to cross over, you can then use marked cycle path to negotiate Newton Abbot. Around the town head on to Kingteignton. On return journey follow route back turn off at Coles lane. This section is hilly and can be hard in some places but it is scenic and is less busy with traffic on the weekend. | |
