| 1. An alternate route for Sustrans Route 1 in the Holbeach area allowing a visit to the spectacular Wash, but involving some rough and tiring riding along the grassy sea-bank bridleway - but well worth the effort. Could also be easily adapted to create a loop, so still visiting Holbeach if required. The crossing of the A17 at Fleet Hargate should be made on foot, via the footpath around the safety barrier on the Fleet Hargate side of the road. | |
