Cycle Steps |
1. Took the bike on the train from Overton to Tisbury, a journey of 50 minutes or so. I am in my mid 50's, very overweight and cycled this route on a warm day! For the most part it was an easy ride.
Beautiful scenery most of the way riding along several river valleys (Nadder Valley, Bourne Valley and the Test Valley. No really difficult hills. Only significant traffic was on the sections through Salisbury and Andover and a brief stretch on the very busy A303 near Weyhill. Plenty of pubs and shops in the various villages passed.

Landmarks/Sites to see? |
Apart from the scenery, and the attractions of old Salisbury (not directly on the route) the route passes Wilton House and the interesting Italianate Church at Wilton. No bike shops directly on the route but there are several in Andover and Salisbury
