1. This is basically a run to Bicester and back with a couple of variations on the way back. It is a nice, mostly quiet route with wide roads and lovely scenery. A word of warning, when you come down Bunkers Hill, it is a steep, fast and has a deceptively sharp right hand turn at the botton, so slow right down before taking it. As for the rest it is fairly flat where you can get up a head of steam. A number of pubs along the way but never stopped in any, so cannot comment. A very pleasant ride with two climbs, Bunkers Hill and Tumbledown Dick just into Cumnor, which is a bit of a challenge as it comes at the end of the ride. |
