| 1. Starting at the Commonwealth Pool, this is almost all off road. There is a short section of country path just beyond Brunstane station and the journey ends at the renowned Luca's ice cream parlour. Use the Innocent Railway tunnel to cut through under Holyrood Park. Delightful with children: it's not a difficult route, and is just long enough to feel that you've really gone somewhere. Just one section to watch out for though: the short stretch of main road just outside Musselburgh. |
