| 1. Worthing by road to pick up the Downslink to Southwater. Follow Downslink all the way from Shoreham up the river Adur, Bramber, Henfield, West Grinstead (old station makes a good pit stop) and to Southwater car park.
Then return home! Cat and Canary in Henfield (at side of the path) is also good for water refill and a cold drink. |

Beautiful scenery, river, south downs. There are sign posts but going through the villages are not so well sign posted. Take a map the first time you go. There are a couple of pit stops and a bike shop in Southwater. Its a well used path by walkers, horse riders and cyclists.
