| 1. Mainly follows the cycle route No.1 as far as Tydd St. Giles, then heads West into the fens near Holbeach St John before heading north back to Holbeach. This is a very flat route, hence very easy unless there is a breeze. Very few cars will be encountered, maybe a few tractors around harvesting time, but still a very pleasant ride. There is a pub en route at Tydd St Giles which does meals and beer brewed in the village. Oddest sight when I did this route were fields of Lilies and Gladiolis left to go wild. |
