Cycle Steps |
1. This route takes you from Barnet through to Potters Bar, a round about route to Northaw and back to Barnet. It's suitable for a novice as it's relatively flat apart from the sharp incline up to Northaw , in particular the first part of Northaw Rd West (B156). As you return on the same Potters Bar to Barnet Rd , the route takes a detour off the main road through Dancers Hill Rd and Kitts End Rd. My favourite part of the route is the long quiet , car-free section, Coopers Lane Rd, and shortly after that the sharp downhill section ,Cattlegate Rd. Takes about 1 and a half hours. |

The green in Northaw is a good place to rest and Rochfords cycle shop is conveniently placed just as you come into Potters Bar.
