Cycle Steps |
1. There are several car parks around Lake Vyrnwy from which you can start the route. Navigation is simple as the route follows the lake to Alltforgan before turning off onto a small road at the end of the lake. The route ascends fairly steeply but you are rewards by beautiful views. It then continues down, turning left towards the B4391 and then left again onto the B4403. Follow this road along the east side of Bala Lake. After the lake turn left before Llanuwchllyn for the second big climb. Once you've gotten to the top of the pass, its plain sailing back to Lake Vyrnwy. Just watch that you don't miss the sharp left at the fork. At the lake turn right and come back down the opposite side of the lake back to Llanwddyn. |
