| 1. This route can be started at the Rhu Marina. Follow the A814 with the loch on your left. Keep heading down for about 3 miles until you see signs for Glen Fruin. Then begin a challenging climb for about twenty minutes and keep heading round with the loch now on your left, with amazing views of loch and rhu. Keep going on reasonable flat road for a while until you begin descent, care to be taken for oncoming traffic. Once at bottom, turn right onto main road and foll back into helensburgh. Challenging ride for a beginner like myself but great sense of achievment on completion. |
