| 1. Route starts at north end of Southport south through built up area until Formby by pass. Then mostly country lanes from Formby towards Aughton. One good view point at Clieves Hill. This hill is fairly difficult for anyone only used to the flat areas around here. Nice freewheel down into Ormskirk from Aughton but more traffic here. Very little traffic for most of the route.
