Cycle Steps |
1. Route is very well signposted just aim for the "O2" passing through Bostall Heath, Plumstead and Woolwich. Avoid rush hour if doing midweek, Sunday is my choice. Once at the "O2" you pick up the "Thames Path" which is very well signposted. Quite flat with no real hills to mention, the only one is towards Plumsted just after Bostall Heath but fortunately downhill. The Thames Path has lots of sign posts along the route so you can break from route if a coffee or pint is required. First part of route can be busy roads but once on Thames Path which makes up about 50% of the trip you will only encounter other cyclists and pedestrians. |
