| 1. Starting at the pub, follow Longton Road until the right hand turn, following along through the downs into a difficult climb (the only climb on the ride). Dropping down through the downs and through the road splash and joining the canal. Following the canal there is a lovely pub, The Plumb and Feather, great place to stop for a coffee. Carry on through down the canal under the underpass and through into Hanley. Leaving the canal and joining the city wide cycle route dropping through towards Bentilee. |
