1. This route takes you in and around the Knightwood area of Glasgow. It is a very safe route for first time cyclist and isn't too difficult. It takes you through lots of different landscapes including a woodland area (Cairnhill Woods) and through a very nice part of the Forth Clyde Canal. This is a safe route at night and during the day as it doesn't take you through any alarming areas. |

There are three shops close to the start of the route which are very visible and there is lots of different shops once you reach the Anniesland area. There are two pubs 1/2 way through and 3/4 of the way through the route which you will see quite clearly. This route takes you through Cairnhill Woods and a section takes you along the Forth Clyde Canal
