Cycle Steps |
1. Start at Rackstraw taking the Yorktown Road A321 towards Yateley. Follow the signs to Yateley and emerge on the B3272 opposite the Royal Oak Pub. Go right towards Eversley, stay on route passing Yateley Green then Eversley Cricket Green and 5 Pubs. At Glaston Hill Road take a left. Then follow this road straight crossing the A327 and then heading towards Bramshill. Pass through Bramshill Forest and the Hatchgate Pub and continue until the Roundabout. Go right towards Riseley at the RB. Then go left at the next RB towards the A33. Go straight over the A33 towards Stratfield Saye. Stay on this road until the road dog legs. There is a byway to use if you have a mountain bike which goes straight to the Roman Town (its an old Roman Road) it cuts about 2 miles off the route. If you have a road bike follow the signs to Silchester. |

Pretty much follow the Devils Highway (Roman Road) and go on it at one point. Pass loads of good pubs on route. The Roman Town Calleva.
