| 1. Mostly flat on quiet lanes. Route best tackled clockwise. A few good climbs where you least expect them, just north of Ruyton XI towns and at Weston, after Wem. The small loop after Weston contains a graded climb, which could be tackled several times to increase distance/difficulty. Wem is approximately mid-way and has shops/cafe where you could re-fuel. As with all lanes in the area, they are very quiet, but be vigilant for tractors/4x4's. | |
