1. This is a hilly ride, with some good climbs and great views, that also passes through the 3 Counties of Lancashire, West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester.
The route starts in Rawtenstall (Lancashire), heads out on the A682 towards Burnley. Turn right onto the A646 and follow this to Todmorden (West Yorkshire). You then turn onto the A6033 towards Littleborough (Greater Manchester), and take the A58 down to Rochdale (Greater Manchester). Turn back up the A671 towards Whitworth and Bacup (both Lancashire). Finally, turn onto the A681 and head back to Rawtenstall (Lancashire). |
