Cycle Steps |
1. A great circular route, starting and finishing at the Sharley Park Leisure Centre, Clay Cross. It initially heads out to Alton and loops to Beeley Moor and Chatsworth. You get great views of Chatsworth House before heading into Baslow. This provides a good stop at the Cafe, or for a freshly made ice cream!. The return leg takes you past The Robin Hood Inn and a steady climb on the A619 heading towards Chesterfield. Turn right into Top Lane and head back towards Beeley Lane. Finally, turn left into Beeley Lane and return through Alton to Clay Cross along the same route you came out on. |
