| 1. This route was not planned when my friend and I rode it, but we found it to be a great route to take in the views of the Lake District, Duddon Estuary (Isle of Man on a clear day) and Morecambe Bay. It is approximately 42 miles long, with some climbs, though these are mostly up and down, with no extensive climbing encountered on this route. Please beware that the road surface on some areas of this route is rough and broken, so please take caution in these particular areas. | |
