Cycle Steps |
1. Very enjoyable 2 hour road ride through some of the villages SW of Cambridge. You can start/finish anywhere on the route (Shepreth has a station on the Cambridge-Kings Cross line for those travelling by rail). Fairly flat apart from a short steep hill at Barrington (going anti-clockwise or downhill freewheel going clockwise). Crosses both the A10 and A505 which can get busy. |

Landmarks/Sites to see? |
Most of the villages have shops and/or pubs for stopoffs. The Elmdon Dial is particuarly recommended. Shrepreth has a wildlife park.
Both Gt Chesterford (Liv St) and Shepreth (Kings Cross) have train links from Cambridge to London
