| 1. The route was undertaken as a charity ride for the Eyeless trust. It exceeds a hundred miles and was completed over 2 days with one overnight stop in Halstead. We were a team of 4 and took a relatively easy pace averaging about 13-15 mph over the two days. There are plenty of places to stop for lunch and the odd bike shop so some spares are advisable. | |
