| 1. The route takes you thorough nice Surrey / Suffolk countryside and woodland. The first half of the route from Cranleigh to Chiddingfold is reasonably flat with some gentle hills.
The 2nd half has longer and slightly steeper hills followed by short, sharp downhills. Apart from 2 or 3 sections measuring no more than 200 meters there are no really steep hills.
Traffic is very light apart from the section running along the A283 with most of the route being country lanes.
Scenery is mostly farmland with a couple of sections running through woodland. |
