| 1. A lovely country lane route. Head out from Kelvedon Hatch over to Navestock past Gilstead Hall toward Weald Country park. At this point its been mostly downhill. The route then gets rather hilly, there are some steep inclines towards St Peters Church South Weald. Go up Sandpit Lane straight over Ongar Rd towards Doddinghurst (Days Lane) then back to K Hatch. You don't pass any shops or pubs so don't forget to take water, suitable for any type of bike as no off road, should take 55 mins (21K). | |
