1. This is a road route, that is mainly on the B6270, that meanders along Swaledale, while climbing to about 1000ft in the first section (crossing from Cumbria into Swaledale). After this it's pretty easy going, and downhill most of the way. There is a diversion off the B6270, from Feetham up to Arkengarthdale and down to Reeth, which is purely optional, but certainly worth it. |
